The Italian Metallurgy Association proposes a new edition of the Course on Characterisation Techniques of metallic materials to briefly illustrate the basic principles but above all the application aspects and the importance of
process control in its entirety.

The course consists of two days, during which the techniques will be presented and critically discussed the techniques normally used in the chemical laboratory, reference standards, sampling sampling techniques, sample preparation and
the importance of accreditation.

The course is taught by lecturers working in company laboratories of primary importance in the Italian accreditation body and is primarily aimed at personnel working in laboratories, but may also be of interest to those working in production who often 'demand' analysis and have to interpret it.
