The Italian Society of Microscopic Sciences (SISM) and the IMM-CNR Institute of Bologna organise the 2023 edition of the "Aldo Armigliato" Scanning Electron Microscopy School in Materials Science that will take place from 11 to 14 December 2023 at the CNR-IMM Institute of Bologna.

The course will be theoretical/practical and the theoretical lectures will be followed by demonstrations on SEM-FEG and ESEM microscopes present in the CNR-IMM laboratory, according to the programme attached and available at this link. 

The maximum number of participants in the school is set at 24 and enrolments can be made on the SISM website until 05/12/2023.

During the event, Giuliano Casati, Oxford Instrument Territory Sales Manager - Italy, will hold a presentation entitled: Simultaneous high speed Backscattered Electron and X-Ray (BEX) imaging - a new technique for SEM.
