Fractional conductance quantisation in one-dimensional electrons
In this webinar, I will present results on the recently discovered zero-magnetic fractional conductance quantisation in quasi-one-dimensional electrons realized in GaAs/AlGaAs semiconductor heterostructures. The non-trivial characteristics and potential of these non-magnetic fractional states for future quantum technologies would be discussed.
About Sanjeev:
Sanjeev Kumar is an academic and UKRI Futur Leaders Fellow at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University College London. His group's research activities are centered around quantum transport in low dimensional semiconductor nanostructures and particularly investigating zero-magnetic fractional quantum states for topological quantum computing.
