Magnetic Resonance in Porous Media (MRPM15)
For thirty years, the Magnetic Resonance in Porous Media conference has brought together researchers from both academia and industry to exchange ideas, approaches and experiences.
The conference was founded at the University of Bologna, where the first meeting was held in 1990. Since then, the community involved in NMR porous media research has continued to grow and now draws researchers from every continent on the globe.
These researchers come from a wide range of fields, as porous media describes many types of both natural and artificial materials such as rocks, biological tissues, pharmaceuticals, cements, food, particle packs, wood, sediments, zeolites, and bioconstructs.
The conference aims to encourage the cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas across physics, chemistry, engineering, life sciences, mathematics, computer science, and industrial applications.
The conference has a strong focus on new data acquisition and analysis techniques and seeks to share progress in methods to study structure, fluid behaviour, and their interactions.
