This conference is part of a traditional conference series taking place at 2-3 years intervals and will be a forum on crystallographic textures of materials and microstructures. Texture controls the anisotropic properties of materials, and microstructure determines material performance. ICOTOM-20 will be a platform for understanding the origin, observation, control, and modeling issues of textures and microstructures. It will cover all modern characterisation techniques, material processing technologies and modeling for obtaining the best material possible for a better world.
