Duke University Confocal Raman Workshop

Come see how the Oxford Instruments’ Confocal Raman Microscope achieves highest speed, sensitivity and resolution – without compromise. This modular design provides the flexibility to configure each system for the individual requirements and to adapt to future research directions.

Oxford Instruments is an industry leader in confocal Raman microscopy imaging and correlative microscopy solving complicated characterization problems. An intrinsic yet non-invasive imaging technique, Raman spectroscopy is an important tool gaining large scale adoption for material identification. The WITec Alpha300 Confocal Raman imaging system brings state of the art Raman technology to the scientists with industry leading XYZ resolution and acquisition speed, offering correlative imaging modes to provide insight into next generation materials research from low dimensional materials, semi conductors & energy storage components, to polymers & biological and soft materials. Correlative microscopic techniques in same region of interest (ROI) including AFM, fluorescence/photoluminescence, time resolved spectroscopy and SEM in combination with Raman will be presented, with live system demonstrations throughout the event.
