12th European Combustion Meeting

Join us at the 12th European Combustion Meeting

The British Section of the Combustion Institute is organizing the 12th European Combustion Meeting (ECM), which will take place in Edinburgh, UK from 7th -10th April 2025.

The ECM is a forum of knowledge transfer in the field of combustion science and related scientific disciplines. The three-day conference will include five plenary lectures and five poster sessions that will cover advanced topics related to combustion science as we aim to transition to a carbon-neutral society while able to meet the societial energy demands.

The ECM 2025 provides a great opportunity for colleagues from academia and industry to gather and have insightful discussions within the various areas of combustion science. The ECM 2025 will gather together 600+ participants from over 40 countries. The topics associated with the ECM 2025 include:

Oxford Instruments will be at the 12th European Combustion Meeting to present its latest product innovations. Stop by our Booth and have a chat with our experts!

Oxford Instruments Andor’s portfolio of modular spectrographs, intensified sCMOS, EMCCD and sCMOS cameras provide a wide range of high sensitivity, fast detection solutions for the fluid, flow and combustion diagnostics ‘home-builder’ Research community.

These detectors benefit especially applications in the field of reactive and non-reactive flows, jets and flames, with analysis techniques including:

  • Planar Laser-Induced Fluorescence (PLIF)
  • Chemiluminescence
  • Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV)
  • Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Spectroscopy (CARS)
