About the Author

Applications Scientist, Oxford Instruments

Daniel is a scientist with a multidisciplinary background and a deep expertise in microscopy and spectroscopy systems, as well as in supporting other scientists and engineers in developing their projects.

He obtained his PhD at Institut des Matériaux at Nantes in nanomaterials, plasmonics, and optoelectronics. Following this, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at L’École Polytechnique in Paris where he designed and developed innovative physico-chemical surface characterization techniques.

He joined Oxford Instruments in 2024 as an Applications Scientist. He delivers advanced solutions to electron microscope users in the fields of materials, electronics, pharma, research, and industry.
