Technical Marketing and Editing Specialist, Oxford Instruments WITec

Damon Strom is the Technical Marketing and Editing Specialist at Oxford Instruments WITec. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and during his coursework was employed at the University’s Materials Research Laboratory where he fabricated, set up and maintained scientific instrumentation. He joined WITec in 2002 and was responsible for the design, development and testing of mechanical and opto-mechanical microscope components until 2017, when he moved to the marketing department. He now creates and edits technical content that conveys the quality of WITec’s product line, and the advantages it can provide, to a discerning, global community of customers.
