Choosing a dilution refrigerator system

The KelvinoxMX range is designed so that the cooling circuit is separated from the experimental access. This modular approach enables a range of various experimental inserts to be fitted. The modularity extends to a set of interchangeable dilution units that offer a choice of thermodynamic performance.

The KelvinoxVT operates in conjunction with a 4He variable temperature insert. It is also the only option where liquid helium is excluded from the horizontal plane at the sample height so avoiding scattering or attenuation of a beamline.

The KelvinoxTLM is the only system where the sample is immersed in the 3He/4He mixture and is ideal for experiments requiring quick turnaround time.

The Kelvinox400HA provides the lowest base temperature, highest cooling power and the maximum experimental access.

NEW! The TritonDR Cryofree® dilution refrigerator provides 50 mK base temperature without the need for liquid helium.
